Good morning.

We had a committee that worked on strategic planning for ACP Communications.

Our Chief of Palliative Care, Social Workers, and RNs were involved.

We educated staff and I recommended hosting an event to educate our patients/family members and offer ACP instructions and completion forms. Unfortunately, the pandemic hit and we were unable to host the event based on initial planning; however, last year the Palliative Care Team hosted an event and some of our patients completed advance directives.

I am not sure if they plan to make this an annual event.
